From the Filter By pop-up menu choose All Applications. Tap the Settings button at the top of the screen, tap More, and tap Applications. Now tap the Documents folder, tap and hold on the screen, and tap Paste.

Tap the left-pointing arrow at the bottom of the screen to return to the sdcard screen. Tap the Download folder and in that screen tap and hold on a book that you want to move. This presents you with a list of all the folders within the Fire’s storage area. Return to the home screen, tap Apps, and then tap AndroXplorer. In the Search field on the resulting screen enterĪndroXplorer, tap Search, and then download the app that appears. However, if you find something on Project Gutenberg or another site that isn’t available from Amazon (at least, not for free) there’s a way to do all of this on the Fire. In the case of the kind of books you download from Project Gutenberg, that’s not so bad as many of those same books can be obtained for free from Amazon.
