I'm beginning to think no such animal exists. I have spent a lifetime seeking the perfect solo instrument, one that combines a piano action weighted keyboard with realistic accompaniment/style features. Its keyboard action is terrible and it's 'piano' samples sound like they came from a music box. I also have a Korg SP500, which is a real dog. I own an older model GEM WK4, which is ergonomically similar to the SK880, so there would be no real learning curve, which is a plus when changing instruments. The seller has agreed to let me try it out, and will let me ship it back if I don't like it (at the cost of nearly $100 though). I am considering the purchase of a GEM (General Music) SK880.
